The Kalamata olive is the king of Greek table olives. Originally grown and still grown today in the valley of Messina, near the city of Kalamata, they are harvested by hand so not to bruise them. Once fully ripened on the tree, the olives are picked in December. The BERBATI Kalamata Olives have tight and shiny skins with a meaty texture and fruity flavour.
